The Licking County, OH Orthoimagery/LiDAR/Contours/Hydrology Project will consist of the following:
• New countywide 1"=100' scale color digital orthoimagery (with a 3-inch pixel resolution) - 2015
• New countywide 1-meter LiDAR (average point density) - 2015
• New 2-foot and 4-foot contours - 2016
• New countywide hydrology – 2016
The 2015 Licking County Digital Orthoimagery Project - In the Spring of 2015, Licking County obtained new orthoimagery covering the entire county (+/-687.4 sq. miles). Imagery was collected with Intergraph Z/I DMC-II Airborne Digital Frame Camera and rectified using the existing LiDAR dataset. The aerial imagery was collected during leaf-off conditions. The orthos are delivered as a countywide dataset, consisting of 1,250' x 1,250' uncompressed 4-band, 8-bit orthophotos with a 3-inch ground sample distance (GSD). In addition to the base geotiffs, countywide MrSID Mosaics (20:1, 50:1 and 100:1 compression ratios) were created for both the natural color and color infrared imagery datasets. Horizontal accuracy is based upon NMAS Standards for 1"=100' scale base mapping. Orthoimagery and ancillary data products produced through this contract are public domain.
</abstract>
<purpose>Licking County has a goal to develop and/or update their existing orthoimagery, LiDAR, contours, and
hydrology geospatial datasets for use by county agencies, other levels of government, academia, and
the general public, and to provide these datasets for inclusion to OGRIP. OGRIP is a State of Ohio
resource for geographic information technology users.</purpose>

<procdesc>The Intergraph Z/I DMC-II Airborne Digital Frame Camera collecting multiple spectral bands The imagery for this task order was acquired using the Intergraph Z/I DMC-II Airborne Digital Frame Camera which uses Z/I Inflight Flight Navigation System and Z/I gyro-stabilized camera mount along with a NovAtel GNSS dual frequency receiver and NovAtel LN-200 series inertial measurement unit (IMU) for the measurements of the camera position and orientation during flight operations. The IMU/Airborne GNSS data was reduced using NovAtel’s Inertial Explorer v8.60 software package. All of the source imagery was initially processed in Leica’s FramePro software for image frame generation, and then final processed using the ImageStation Automatic Traiangulation (ISAT) 2015 software package. This package provides the capability to perform digital image processing, aerial triangulation, and image rectification. The imagery were ortho rectified to newly collected LiDAR digtial elevation model (DEM) data. The individual rectified strips of ortho rectified imagery were then mosaicked together to form a seamless imagery database over the entire task order area using the OrthoVista software (V4.5) by Inpho GmbH. The final digital orthophoto imagery (DOI) were extracted using OrthoVista.</procdesc>
